Jack and the Beanstalk Celebrates Diversity at Brighton Pride

Over 300,000 people flocked to the South Coast in order to attend the annual Brighton Pride Festival, and for many, 2018 was the best year to date. With a headline performance from none other than Britney Spears, it was always going to be a special year.

If there’s a large event happening in Brighton, it’s a safe bet that E3 will be involved somehow, and Brighton Pride 2018 was of course no exception. With Jack and the Beanstalk just four months away, a Pride float was definitely in order, and the fantastic crew from E3 and the Hilton Brighton Metropole helped make it happen. Our float was decorated with ivy and beanstalk-esque greenery, and adorned with colourful banners celebrating diversity in the workplace. The whole team was on board, dressed up and waving to the crowd. Head of E3 David Hill donned his colourful frock and wig, and superbly played The Dame, alongside our resident villain Lukas Wojcik as Fleshcreep. Also along for the ride were Danilo, Demi, and Joe, all of whom embraced the ‘Colour My World’ theme with rainbows and glitter

E3 would also like to extend a warm thank you to the Hilton Brighton Metropole, without whom this fantastic float would not have happened. E3 and the Hilton have a fantastic business relationship, and we have worked alongside them for many years. They assisted us last year as the hosts for Cinderella 2017, and we are thrilled to be returning in December 2018 to perform Jack and the Beanstalk. Make sure to come and see what will be a fantastic show, starting on December 20th and running through to the 29th. It will be a wonderful day for all the family, and includes a magical Christmas Fayre. Click here to get your tickets while you still can!
