EVENTS EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

If you ever wondered what E3 stands for and how the name came about - now you know. Twenty years on and the philosophy that underpins our entire business, 'Events Exceeding Expectations', still stands firm today. It is our mission, our mantra and our commitment to every client we work with.

LEGACY

Since we founded the company in 1998, there have been many stages in its development and growth. However the sheer professionalism, passion and values we had back then still remain today and that is why our clients choose to work with us time after time
— David Hill

Our clients, and indeed their clients, still talk about the events and experiences that we have produced over the last twenty-two years: their legacy lives on.

We marked our 20th Birthday milestone in 2018, running forward into new chapters with old and new partnerships alike. E3 Events are thrilled to be embarking on exciting new endeavours, proud of the foundations that make us who we are today.

CULTURE

Even back in 1998 we were considered industry pioneers - creating and delivering innovative entertainment solutions for international tour operators and global brands like Thomas Cook. Some of the methods and principles we applied are still in force today.

Fast forward to 2019 and the E3 culture continues to breed a pioneering approach to all of the services we now offer.  Our team strives to set the trend, be the benchmark and dares to be different.

OUR LOCATION - PALMEIRA SQUARE

Undoubtedly one of Brighton and Hove's most iconic landmarks, Palmeira Square is a mid-19th-century Grade II listed architectural masterpiece in Hove. At the southern end it adjoins Adelaide Crescent, another architectural set-piece which leads directly down to the seafront. Large imposing mansion houses occupy its west and east sides, separated by the famous gardens and lots of dogs! More importantly for us, it's home to E3 and we hope in some way to play our part in the Palmeira story. We hope you can join us there sometime soon.

OUR COMMUNITY, SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY & SUSTAINABILITY

Our 10th Birthday in 2008 marked the beginning of an important new era in E3's history and one that continues to evolve. We decided to celebrate this milestone by using our resources, creativity and passion to help two local hospices, Chestnut Tree House and The Martlets. We raised just over £45,000 for these two charities and our addiction to fundraising began.

Over the last twelve years, as a team, we have directly raised over £200,000 for both local and national charities. Playing an active role in supporting the local community and using the opportunities and skills at our disposal is now part of our DNA. Professionally we pride ourselves on being fundraising pioneers and as one of our key areas of expertise it makes sense to practice what we preach.

In 2018, our founder David Hill, was presented with the ‘Business in the Community’ award at the prestigious Argus Community Star Awards.

For the The Brighton Half Marathon 2014 to 2024, we have placed a significant focus on ensuring all of our events are sustainable in order to minimise the negative impact on the environment. Where possible we strive to use these events to benefit both the environment and the local economy. Indeed, we have pioneered to completely remove the reliance on single use plastics and replace diesel generators with solar power and biodiesel generators on all of our events.

We are signed up to the Brighton and Hove Council Sustainable Event Commitments and constantly work to achieve as many of these as possible.
